Vacation Time

Hey, it seems that a lot of the guys & gals are on vacation right now. Well, at least it has cooled down a bit and everybody is already complaining where the Summer has gone :-)

We're doing fine over here in Langen. Due to a little accident creating a scratch on our living-room floor, my wifey decided to rearrange the whole thing: A new floor, a new table, we're chucking out the sofa and getting a new one, a new TV,.... It's like a brand new living-room that we are planning because of a little scratch... Ok, to be honest, the floor indeed looked a bit scratched because of our dog and the TV was my idea... Will keep you posted on the progress we make (like, yesterday we decided on an oak-wooden floor).

Hope to hear from you soon when you all come home from vacation.

And of course a very special "Hola" to Dominique who has found her way into this blog - hey, no more excuses from any of you, because if a non-german speaker can handle posting a blog - so can you. "You can do it - yes you can"....if I could only remember where that one came from....

I CAN'T GET NO, SATISFACTION....

Didn't really think I'd ever go to a Stones concert, but they were in Nice and there were still tikets available, so my mom thought it'd be a nice idea for us all to go with my dad for his birthday - WOW what a show!
I wouldn't want to look like them at 60+ but I wouldn't mind having their energy! We weren't as well placed as for Robbie Williams, but I did get some good shots. Here's one when the stage rolled out into the crowd....
